I have written to thank each and every one of you for your support in trying to bring some common sense decision-making back to TRREB as they continue to force the bug-ridden REALM service upon us.
That 3,000 of you took the time to sign and promote via word of mouth shows how serious this problem has become for so many. Just imagine if every TRREB member knew about the petition! In my 27-years of being a member of TRREB, I would have never imagined TRREB ignoring so many of us and failing to take action for us. It is deeply, deeply disappointing - and indicative of the need for a complete overhaul of TRREB management.
Clearly, we 3,000 need to form a voting block to bring about needed change to TRREB for future elections and votes on policy to ensure ALL our voices are heard and respected. We need to end bad decision-making!

The basic premise of this initiative is that any major decisions by TRREB that affect our businesses or our fees should be decided by a majority vote of the membership and not by a select few.
As for REALM, at best, TRREB has committed to explore a 'classic view' option for REALM that would make REALM look and function like Stratus.

I know for many of our Baby Boomers this upcoming change on July 30 will hurt your businesses during the worst possible time given the current economic climate. I am sorry that we could not do more to help you in this forced transition.
Again, every vote counts, so this is why I believe that we should keep connected to take action on future TRREB issues that affect our livelihoods.
